Transportation to get into the State

Air: Aizawl airport is the only airport of Mizoram. This airport is well connected to Kolkata, Guwahati by air.

Rail:  Railway Service is not available in Mizoram. Nearest station from the capital city is Silchar, Assam (184 km away)

Road: Mizoram is well connected with the rest of India by road: NH 54 connected with the capital city Aizawl which passes through Silchar of Assam. Buses and Taxi facilities are available to Aizawl from Guwahati, Silchar and other Major cities of Northeast India.

Major Tourist Festival

Anthurium Festival:
