Transportation to get into the State

Air: Ummroi is the only airport in Meghalaya having landing facilities for small aircraft. Helicopter facilities are available to Shillong and Tura from Monday to Wednesday in every Week.

Road: All major towns and villages are well connected with the neighbourhood states by road. Day and Night bus services are available from to Shillong from other major cities of Northeast India.

Rail: Since Meghalaya is a hilly area, railway services are not available in the state. The Nearest railhead from Shillong is Guwahati (103 km away)
